Great Great Aunt Pearl

Are you related to a famous person? Well, I'm Pearl S. Buck's great-great neice. Pretty kool, huh? Pearl Buck was a very famous author. She was the first woman to ever win the Pulitzer and the Nobel prize for literature. She wrote books called The Good Earth (which Hollywood made into a movie), The Patriot, The Angry Wife, and many other books. She wrote over 80 novels, 200 short stories, and was a human-rights activist. Her parents were missionaries in China, where she lived as a child. The home she lived in as an adult is in Pennsylvania, which is now a national landmark, as well as her birth-place in West Virginia. She died in the 70's, but it would have been really kool if she were still alive today. I would've of really liked to have met her. She could've given me some great writing tips to use in my stories, which I love to write. Now I know where I got it from!
